Spiritual Practices

Spiritual practices offer pathways to spiritual deepening. They are just that, practices.  We need time, space, and encouragement to discover what practices will help us for the season we are in. Retreats offer a space to explore the possibilities without judgment, pressure or need to perform.

Through our renewed fidelity to our contemplative practices we learn to discern

and take steps to correct any tendencies to drag around dust-gathering trophies of things past…

we find ourselves once again at the never ending origins

of the one unending present moment in which our lives unfold.

Spiritual Practices II:
Food and Hospitality for Nourishing Body and Soul

Come, join our table and celebrate the beautiful mutuality of our connectedness with people, plants and animals through feasting and fasting. Explore contemplative and communal rhythms of choosing, preparing, sharing and clearing food that nurture body, mind, soul and communities. Table invites sacramental welcome through story and sensory awakening; taste how sharing food shortens the distance and increases love between us.
